Discuss artists you've been into and that you think people should check out!

The band I've most been excited about recently is The Relationship and it's not just because Brian Bell from Weezer started it. I really love the demo's and style of music they've put together, it reminds me of Elvis Costello or maybe even Early Beatles material. Haven't really heard many bands do well with the kind of early Pop Rock type of music. I really think Brian has written some great material and am really looking forward to their debut album due to come out this year.

idk if you know about Circa Survive, but they are my personal obsession currently.... they have a very alternative sound, hardly any songs in traditional 4/4 time. (my favorite is in 7/4) you should youtube them at least
Blue Skies is an awesome band. Even though it only has 1 member! Seriously though, you should check him out!

Awesome! I love when people do the whole one man band thing with editing. I loved the song you linked too and his cover of The White Stripes "Dead Leaves and The Dirty Ground" definitely going to subscribe to him.

Just finished listening to their latest album and am loving them so far. I had heard of them before but only because they went on tour with Coheed and Cambria this year.

I will definitely pick up a few of their records if I get the chance.

I have been recently interested in three different bands:

1. Tally Hall.
2. Two Door Cinema Club.
3. Seabird

These are all very much worth looking into.
I've recently been interested in the band Need to Breathe. They are awesome, you should look up their song Something Beautiful on Youtube, it's great! Also my old choir teacher made a cd and her songs are long but she has such a beautiful voice and is really good. http://jessicabryanmusic.com/ You can listen to some of her songs there =3
Currently I'm liking a band called Ash. There are a few good songs by them, and a whole lot of garbage. By favorite songs are "Carnal Love" and "Ichiban".

Not sure why, but lately I've been interested in this band called School Boy Humor. They aren't great, but there's something about them that keeps me coming back to buy more songs. One of my teachers is either good friends with, or is somehow related to one of the band members so they came and had a concert at my school. Therer music isn't for everyone though.

Warren Zevon

John Hiatt

both brilliant and under-credited musicians

Suggestions: The Beatles, yeah...that's all I can really think of right now, sorry!! :)(:
The band that I've been in to for that past two years is Paramore. I really love their sound and the lyrics are easy to relate to. They play punk/alternative music. :D
