Tyrants, beware.

One state North of R&L, we are home to more US Presidents than any other state, and the likes of Warren Beatty and Katie Couric. And me.

Are you a lover of Virginia? Virginia is for Lovers, after all....

Fellow citizens of the Commonwealth, unite! And non-citizens, too, please feel free to comment about our lovely dogwoods or cardinals or anything else you like about VA.

Dang skippy I live in Virginia.
By the state state seal and moto, apparently Virginia is boastful of the number of sick trannys living there? What gives?

OK - - I know the state motto is Latin for "death to tyrants". Sorry, I can't help myself sometimes.

I will say this for VA - - - good hams!

Yea, we just like to kill tyrants. Trannies are ok.... :)

Proud to be a Northern Virginian =]
Me too! Whereabouts are you located? I grew up in Arlington, but currently live in Ashburn....

I never really noticed that our emblem sported a bare-breasted warrior chick until a couple of years ago when a friend from another state and I started comparing state mottos and seals.

Love the fall colors of the Blue Ridge Parkway when driving to Va Tech and the beaches in the summer. In addition to the Smithfield ham and peanuts, I love the great seafood. Haven't lived there (Chesapeake) in many years, but it still seems like home.
We are Virginians, here us roar.
virginia looks like a triangle. FEAR OUR ABNORMAL LEFT POINT. FEAR IT.
Northern Virginian here! :D I live in historic Alexandria, very near Washington's home (Mount Vernon) as well as Washington D.C. I even "work" in D.C. - I volunteer at the Holocaust Museum.

When I was a child, I lived in Virginia Beach. But I was actually born in Montana. Doesn't get more different than that. I'm an Air Force brat!
Oceania Base in Va. Beach ... the Sound of Freedom!
