WHat I do when I get sick is cry like a baby and put dieapers on and go to bed.

OK, I really don't do that. I just deal with it and live life. I have children, I don't get down time. I do get help from my wonderful husband though. He does let me rest. God Bless him.

I remember my mom given me 7-up and Gatorade when I was vomit sick, not sprite.

I already drink ALOT of tea.  So when I'm  sick, i'm usually the achy-type sick.  So if i can't push through it, I stay in bed, or on the couch, until I'm feeling better.

Last time i REALLY remember my mom taking care of me was about 1.5 years ago when I got the Swine Flu.  I got it twice.  And it was, like, the worst thing ever.  I couldn't move, I couldn't eat, I could hardly breathe.  I lost about 20lbs in a week.  She gave me mostly apple juice.  I couldn't even take broth, or anything slightly acidic.

They did give me Gatorade and IV fluids in the hospital though.

I am sad you had to go through that. The regular flu is awful can't imagine  going through what you did.

I sleep. A LOT. I also demand (well, not really) Sprite and chicken noodle. Also, a nice hot shower to make me able to breathe. Or just generally feel better. That's all I ask.
