I like the spinner better than the binomial distribution. Heh, heh, I'm glad you worked through it all, but I believe you are over-thinking it. The odds of the wheel do not change from spin to spin. They would change if you were betting on an outcome over several spins, but if there are twenty-four spots on the wheel, it's a 1/24 shot each time, no reduction in probability over all. There would be a reduced probably for one spot over another, but taken as a whole, the odds are even and steady. In the example Gumbo gives us, The power and drag on the wheel, I think, are the most important factors affecting the outcome--gravity on the wheel, wear on the axle and spin tab, and the force of the spin.
So for the wheel of mythicality, we aren't going to get perfect spins like the spinner illustration above.
Over-thinking and massively excessive complications = = = it's what we do here.
