Rhett and Link generally don't provide the background or explanation for any factoids they present in GMM, and since I specialized my undergraduate studies in ancient art history and also graduated with a minor in classical studies, I thought I could shed a little light in particular on the final "winged phallus" question from today's ancient Rome-themed fill-in-the-blank game.

I wrote up the explanation on my Tumblr page to spare anyone who doesn't want to read it here, but I bet you are wondering why ancient Romans did that! ;)
