I'm a huge fan of smoked and/or dry aged meat products, and I've tasted a "less expensive" brand of Iberico Ham from the deli at The Central Market (Dallas, TX) for $186/lb - - I "splurged" once on $20 worth just for the experience - - but it wasn't nearly worth the price to me.  I actually prefer a good Serrano or Prosciutto style ham at much lower cost.
