Vernepator Cur - - - Latin for "the dog that turns the wheel."  Also known as the TURNSPIT DOG they were described as "long-bodied, crooked-legged and ugly dogs, with a suspicious, unhappy look about them".

As Rhett said in GMMore, it's interesting how quickly Link has grown attached to Jade! He carries her around in a bag and said he wouldn't ever leave her in California while they travel because "she wouldn't like" a doggie hotel...it's kinda sweet. :)

The dog collar shocking roulette was pretty nerve-wracking, though...although funny when they both freaked out and threw it off of them when it only beeped, but hadn't shocked yet.
