Sorry, Rhett, but your (and Lupe's) math is all wrong . . .  

Boxes of cereals come in all sizes.

You can get small, medium, and large. 

For example, Cheerios (a favorite cereal) comes in 8.9 oz (small), 15 oz (medium) and 18 oz (large) boxes.

So, given a MEDIUM size box of Cheerios at 15oz (almost a pound) so the 500 lbs which she said the entire bin weighed means that you need only 533.33 boxes at $4.00 per box = $2,133.33

Link could cover himself in cereal on a daily basis at these rates! 

Now, the cost of a barrel of fresh milk on the other hand???
