Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
My personal all-time favorite PSA series starring Louie the Lightning Bug:
John Leigh . . . is it really him? You decide:
Háma was the doorward of the Meduseld (King Théoden's palace) and captain of Théoden's guard in The Two Towers. He greeted Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli when they arrived to speak with Théoden. He told the company to leave their weapons behind, by order of Grima Wormtongue, before entering the King's hall. He disarmed Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, but against the King's orders permitted Gandalf to keep his staff with him as a courtesy, though he knew, as he remarked, that "The staff in the hand of a wizard may be more than a prop for age."
The first PSAs I thought of after watching GMM were the Above the Influence commercials, especially this weirdly drawn one with a disappointed dog:
I also remember these animated doodle PSAs from the Partnership for a Drug Free America.
