I'm a tiny bit surprised that there was no use of fondant in this episode. I don't particularly like the taste of fondant, but it is pretty much the same thing as play-doh. Maybe it would have been seen as a cop-out.

For those wondering, fondant is a sugar based dough used to cover cakes. It's nasty, but it looks pretty.

Does it really taste gross? I've never actually eaten any, but I kind of imagined it would just taste like sugar.

The homemade kind (made using marshmallows) isn't quite as bad as the ready-made stuff, but it's still kinda gross. I think whatever it is that gives it its consistency makes it gross. There's also a ton of shortening in it, so that doesn't help.

Someone maybe should've mentioned to R&L that eating raw/uncooked flour isn't recommended either...might as well have eaten the Play-Doh. >.>
