. . . and, oh yeah, R&L forgot to tell us that this mission is not sponsored by N.A.S.A. or any other established and recognized space exploration agency, public or private . . . it's a private initiative funded through individual sponsors such as you and me at indiegogo.com . . .

I'm not certain that the $400,000 they're trying to raise will be enough to get this project "off the ground" but you could at least get some really cool stickers, t-shirts and other swag just for contributing . . .

MAY  THE  FARCE  BE  WITH  YOU!

And did I mention?  Since it allows you to search by age range, sex, country, etc. the layout of the APPPLICANT page on this thing makes it look suspiciously like an intergalactic dating site . . .

BRANDI's interests include meteorology, severe weather, thunderstorms, philosophy, metaphysics, tattoos, snowboarding, traveling, dancing, green energy, walking, yoga, zumba, video games, anime, cooking, learning, sad movies... and beer ;)

I would not go to mars, especially if there is no way to come back. And I defiantly would not go with the people featured in this episode.

I really enjoyed the wheel intro video for this episode - very nicely done!

UPDATE - - > just one year later and the 202,586 applicants have now been narrowed down to 100 and they enter full-time training to narrow the group down to the 24 who will someday take flight . . .  I guess Link didn't make the final cut.

Estimated departure date:  2024
