If you were brave enough to try the Swedish Monkey Turds or any of the other gastonomical anomalies highlighted in previous episodes of GMM and want to keep the streak going, here is today's offering from Hannah in Hawaii . . .

Li hing powder is sprinkled on Hawaiian fruits such as Hawaiian pineapple and Hawaiian papaya
The li hing mui powder comes from the Li Hing mui seed (dried plums)
It has both a sweet and sour taste with hint of salty flavor
Li hing is also a favorite to sprinkle on your popcorn along with Arare crackers.

The Japanese have a food similar to the plums R&L ate called umeboshi, which are dried, salted whole plums. Growing up, we would sometimes get them in Christmas packages from my mother's family in Japan. Umeboshi are EXTREMELY sour and really not all that pleasant, but it seems my mother likes them, because we kept getting them...

So, this isn't related to this episode, but I realized something today! At the end of the Neverwet episode Rhett taught Link how to grow a beard, and Link requested it be extended to his neck. Then we went on break and Link came back with a beard!! My mind is blown.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed the Song That Doesn't Go Anywhere. Not only did it have a pleasant melody, but also its lyrics took a surprise twist!
