Physicist here! Multiverse isn't quite what they were talking about...they were describing the typical sci-fi idea of alternate timelines being in their own universe, but the idea of a multiverse is that there are individual unique universes out there that do not (necessarily) have the same set of physical laws or entities/beings within it. <exit physicist mode>

Still a fun episode, though! I liked the facial expressions one.

This was one case where I liked the GMMore better than the actual episode. Kudos to Rhett for presenting the scientific method correctly! And kudos to him for trusting the expertise of scientists even if the idea sounds crazy.  "It seems like a hare-brained, science-fiction idea, but I'm going to keep one ear to the ground and one eye the scientists, because it just may be true. And it's a little crazy to think about." This is actually exactly why I love physics! It covers a bunch of really mundane things we deal with every day, but also a bunch of wild stuff that sounds too weird to be true (I took one class in which we very seriously and scientifically discussed the possibility of wormholes and warp drives). I like to say that in physics, the truth is stranger than science fiction. :P

Also, "Cosmetologist everywhere agree there is a multiverse and the updo is in" just totally cracked me up. Best line of the episode.
