Today's discussion reminded me of an old skit on The John Boy & Billy Big Show called Married Man - - - where he fights crime with his pal College Buddy against the evil arch-enemy Divorced Guy. In the process, he tries to avoid phonecalls from his wife. 

 

This actually might be where the idea for R&L's version of Super Hero and Sidekick came from

 

The theme song to the tune of  "Spider Man" and goes something like this . . .

Married Man
Married Man
Drives around in a mini van
Has a wife, and some kids
His whole life is on the skids
Hey there! there goes the married man

Has a big gas grill
Buys his clothes at the gap
And he's just about
Had enough, of her crap
Hanging on, by a thread
Quart of milk, loaf of bread
Look out! there goes the married man

 

She says, it's about time he grew up
Wherever there's a screw up
You'll find a married man!
