Dream interpretation from GMMore - it represented Rhett's insecurities of Link propelling himself beyond the R&L brand and become something grander and more successful than they are as a pair, dwarfing Rhett in the process. Or it's just a weird dream.

Interesting interpretation. Also, Rhett mentioned that there was another friend with them. That friend could kind of represent Rhett's fear of having to find a replacement for Link or his insecurity of not being in a duo.
Or, as you said, it could just be a weird dream.

I honestly think a lot of dreams mean very little and just relate to whatever you did recently but occasionally I'll have one that really sticks with me and then I have to wonder if there is some deeper meaning there. The reoccuring dreams, especially.
