12th Doctor

Is everyone excited about the twelveth Doctor? After his first season I see him as the dark and gloomy 'your going to die' person. Wish they could get a more peppy Doctor! Still miss the 11th though..

I like him. I like that he's older, and I like that they removed the romantic interest from him, as it allowed his character to develop independently of that, and it's a refreshing change after the stories with Nine/Ten-Rose and Eleven/River-Clara. I loved the tension between the Doctor and Clara. We really haven't had too much of that, and it was a nice exploration of the Doctor/Companion relationship.
