African Market Coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom in the Spring

Animal Kingdom has long lumbered under the weight of being considered a "half-day" park.  Most people (myself included) go there, ride Kilimanjaro Safari, see It's Tough to be a Bug, ride Expedition Everest, eat, and leave.  Can you stretch your park visit there to a whole day?  Of course but the park is so massive and the attractions are so far apart from each other that the vast majority of your day will be slogging it back and forth between the things you want to do.   To help combat this and add a bit more something to the park Disney is opening up the aptly named "African Market" located in (of all places) the African region of AK.  The market will add a new counter service (i.e fast food) restaurant called "Harambe Marketplace" and several shops and will finally make the Asian region more accessible offering another way in and out as opposed to the one way in/one way out traffic flow they have now.  This new marketplace coupled with what could be something to see in Avatar Land (if you're into that) could finally make Animal Kingdom a place where you can go to at night.  Below is the concept art for the area, I have to say that it looks like it could be really nice.

Avatar Land

It's no secret that Disney is adding Avatar Land to Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Disney broke ground on the project over a year ago and as of yesterday has gotten the green light on the zoning for the soon to be coming land.  My guess is that the land will be timed to open along side the Avatar sequel which has been pushed back to 2017 according to James Cameron.  Although it is known that the permit has been approved and it is under the code name "Morpho" very little is known about the new land as Disney is keeping the details secret.  Below are some concept images, tell me what you think.
