Wires and Cables!

I have a love hate relationship with wires. Many years ago, wires were considered unsightly. Wires from the TV and stereo in the 70's were always hidden somehow - under rugs, behind furniture, behind curtains, stapled above door frames, etc.

As technology increased, so did the wires. My house is now filled with electronic spaghetti and it's impossible to hide! :( There are cables, cords and wires all over my house. Internet cables cross the dining room floor. Scanner and printer cables snake across the chair. Cell phone charger cables block cookbooks on the shelf in the kitchen. Gaming system wiring is a trip hazard in the living room.

I feel webbed.

I would be very grateful if you could write a song that extolled the virtues and beauty of wires because I'm just not seein' it.
