Why is Rhett's name always first?

I was always thinking, why do we say Rhett's name first? Then I tried saying Link and Rhett... It just didn't have the same ring to it. Oh well... So Mythical Beasts, why do YOU think we say Rhett's name first???

Well, for me (maybe it's just me?), "Link and Rhett" comes out like "Link n' Rhett", which sounds like another name entirely. Lincoln Rhett. "You know, the famous Civil War general, Lincoln Rhett..."

Rhetten isn't a name, so it makes more sense. Rhetten Link.
