Hi,

Saw no one replied and I figured I should! When I was in my early teens all the way to about a couple months ago (19 now),  I had trouble falling asleep as well.  If you're looking for a good way to cure it I have a few suggestions:

- Before going to bed there are camomile teas you can drink.

-When you do decide to go to bed you have to turn off all electric devices. Store your phone in your drawer even, because the smallest light or buzz can distract you from an REM sleep.

- This alternative is a little rash, but it's what I did when I was around 17 when diplomas were coming up and I NEEDED to sleep. I just let the no sleep ride out. I think I lasted an entire day and by the night I was exhausted.

I feel like you need to get a sleeping pattern in order before you could start taking sleeping pills. I dont recommend them and I think you should consult a doctor before, or if you're younger then ask a parent what they think. But unless something is impeding you from sleeping that is a new matter in itself. I know for me it was my anxiety about school and college and everything. However, now I realize it was stupid to get worked up over.

Night time is when your brain is most active, so maybe you just need to relax more than anything. Read a book before you go to bed, or just lay there in the dark an hour before you want to go to bed.

This is long, sorry about that. But I hope I helped and made you feel less alone in this issue.

Thank you a lot. I don't mind the length. It does help quite a bit,and it's nice to know I'm not alone.
