I am a Hovering Unicorn. I am a part of an elite sports group that is comprised of un-athletic people. We are called "hovering" unicorns because flying is just too ambitious for us. We make up our own games such as "Angst-whacking" and "Maliceball". These are games that are completely pointless and cannot be won or lost. Which is why we play them. We also have incredible t-shirts with a unicorn on the front, and a flamebow. Yes, that's right. I said flamebow. A rainbow of flames. Be jealous...
Wikipedia has this to say.

"In Greek mythology, Pegasus (ancient Greek Πήγασος / Pegasos, Latin Pegasus) is one of the most known fantastic creatures in greek mythology. He is a winged divine horse divine usually white in color. He is sired by Poseidon, in his role as horse-god, and foaled by the Gorgon Medusa.[1] He was the brother of Chrysaor, born at a single birthing when his mother was decapitated by Perseus. Greco-Roman poets relate it ascends to heaven after his birth and offers to Zeus, king of the gods, who instructed him to bring him the lightning and thunder on the Olympus. Friend of the Muses, Pegasus is the creator of the spring Hippocrene. He was captured by the Greek hero Bellerophon near the fountain Peirene with the help of Athena and Poseidon. Pegasus allows the hero to ride him to defeat a monster, the Chimera, before realizing many other exploits. His rider, however, fall of his back trying to reach the Mount Olympus. Pegasus found Zeus who transformed him into constellation and place him in the sky. Its origin could an ancient god of thunderstorms in the Hittite mythology maned by the epithet Pihassassa, but other theories suggest the observation of natural forces of water, lightning or birds, a single ship named "Pegasus ", or the domestication of the horse by the ancient Greeks."

Wow, this is old. I have a tortoise (but most Americans say turtle) that's older than I am...Probably at least 40 years old. And I like moths more than butterflies. Subtly beautiful and hardier.

Anyway, can you imagine a turtle the size of a dinner plate flying through the sky?

One of my favorite real animals is the Giant Panda, and one of my favorite mythical beasts is the Pegasus. Thus, Panda/Pegasus morphed into Pandegasus. I'm handy with a digital tablet, so I whipped up my icon image and it looked pretty darn cool, so I stuck with it.
I am so sad i got back on here today, and i couldnt find my name, its supped to be flannel pheonix bc flannel is awesome, and Phoenixes are SICK
The hygienic scorpion is a rare giant (3 foot long), bog-dwelling creature whose stinger is filled with lye. It collects the bodies of animals that died in the bog and underwent saponification (bodies turned into a soaplike wax). It mixes the lye from its tail with the "grave wax" (colloquial term) and rubs the resulting primitive form of soap on its carapace to attract a mate.
