Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

I participate for a number of organizations and events.
AIDSwalk, March of Dimes, Race for the Cure, Swim for Diabetes, Great American Bake Sale...(and about 10 other national and local charities/organizations/shelters)

I love helping out organizations like that, and also being an active member in my community.

What kind of charity work to you do, if any?

Stillerstrong for the children affected by the earthquake in Haiti; Locks of Love for cancer patients; Gilda's Club, also for cancer patients; and I volunteer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum which is a living memorial to all the lives lost during the Holocaust.

I also donate to Kiva, which is such a great, easy way to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and provide for themselves and their families. :)

WOW Tylar, those were very eye opening videos. I am going to look more into the girl effect. Thanks for sharing them.

Outside the community and missions outreach of my local church, I have been blessed to serve on the Charitable Events Committee at my employer and with the opportunity to volunteer and support the following worthy groups over the past several years:

~ North Texas Foodbank

~ Welcome Home A Hero

~ Dallas Habitat For Humanity

~ St. Phillips School & Community Center

~ Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas

~ Berkner High School / Mighty Ram Band Boosters

~ Dacula High School / Falcons Band Boosters

I love the Make A Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with terminal illnesses <3 http://www.wish.org/
Please watch this video and others on the Welcome Home A Hero website to see what it's all about!
If you happen to be in the DFW area and looking for something worthwhile to do, I can't think of a better way to spend your morning . . .

It happens every day at the Dallas airport. A great welcome home, connecting flight information and a box of Girl Scout cookies . . . does it get any better than this?
Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.

They helped my brother-in-law in his time of need.
I also like supporting Invisible Children and Locks for Love.
