Who would win in a duel? Yoglopagus or Phlocko? Yoglopagus is a zebra, octopus, platypus mix. While Phlocko is a man-eating duck thats the same size as Yoglopagus. Whichever beast gets the most votes wins!

well, let's think about this for a moment. . .

Yoglopagus is a  zebra, octopus, platypus mix:

  • platypus/octopus attributes would make it very much at home in a watery environment, although the zebra/platypus attributes would seem to indicate it is not restricted to such
  • platypus has webbed feet for swimming and it also lay eggs (female only) ~ although I don't really see this as much of an advantage ~ so it's a tie with the duck on those issues
  • platypus (male only) has a venemous spur on it hind legs to spit out a cocktail of poisons that, while not lethal to most animals, is excruciatingly painful
  • zebra can bite with big teeth
  • zebra run fast & kick hard - - especially if they have 8 legs (octopus attribute invoked)
  • maybe 4 zebra legs for running/kicking and 4 octo-legs for grappling
  • or better yet - - -4 octo-legs to hold guns and knives and swords and clubs

Phlocko is a duck:

  • webbed feet - - no sharp talons at all
  • a flat bill and no teeth - - not nearly as effective as the flesh-ripping ability of an eagle's beak (which the octopus has as well), so guess it could "gum" an opponent to death if given enough time
  • feathers on its wings making it impossible to hold onto anything
  • it can fly - - - good means of escape or retreat from the battle

I THINK THE CHOICE IS CLEAR!

I don't know, the duck IS "man-eating" apparently. None of the three animals in the other combination eat man....

Although, that particular zebra certainly looks fierce enough to.

TRUE - -> but . . .

since Clayton's scenario did not place a limitation on the actual size of either creature - - only that they are same size as each other - - I am assuming that both are ginourmous such as to allow the Phlocko to maneat in a manner similar to how a normal duck would swallow a fish or other prey - -> WHOLE without chewing since it has no teeth.

Either that or it only eats very tiny men.

In the artist's recreation below, let's assume that Rhett and Link have not been transposed to teeny tiny  forms or their natural selves . . . making the Phlocko approximately 7 Rhetts tall

I think the duck will win against a human but anything with 8 legs has a real advantage.
