All right! My area of excellence ;3

Today's challenge is too lame.  I refuse.  See you on Wednesday.

Thought I'd share my submission to today's Week of Christmasicality contest. :)

WEEK OF CHRISTMASICALITY: 5-sentence story prompt (+ sniff, stairs, shampoo)

Sally slowly shifted herself out of her bed on the floor. Her long ears and drooping jowls swung lazily as she looked from side to side, anticipating the start of this early morning. She lifted her nose to the air and inhaled, a delicate sniff, taking in the blended scents of coffee, toasting bread, fresh shampoo, and clean laundry wafting through the household. The children were just beginning to thunder down the stairs in their socked feet, ready to tear into a stack of glittering presents under the big evergreen in the living room. Time for Christmas.

1 - bed on the floor?

2 - long ears?

3 - drooping jowls?

4 - keen sense of smell?

I  know exactly who this SALLY is!

Can't fool you, Gumbo. ;)

My story is really bad and random -

On Christmas Eve, my cousin Mary took a shower. She used her own shampoo but she didn't know that my nephew Jeremy got rotten eggs, melted them and mixed them in with her shampoo. With the mixture of the shower steam and that rancid stench, it stunk and managed to spread throughout the whole house. I thought I saw smoke billowing down the stairs so I took a sniff and almost vomited on the couch. On Christmas Day, she wasn't happy at all so she took Jeremy's toy truck that he got from Santa and smashed it against the wall.

Update: New challenge! Christmasify  a friend!!!

I did one of these last year for fellow K-Mod Matt (Ninja Badger) . . .

. . . and several years ago for the original MB Commandos . . .

Update: Wear a red nose in public! I think I might actually have a chance on this one.
