Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

So YouTube wouldn't let me post a question I had yesterday during the live broadcast.  As someone who works for a major television network, I know how the ratings system works.  Samples are taken strictly from the east coast USA viewership because the show premiers there first.  Since most of your viewership live online (metaphorically speaking) and around the world, will the network take online hits from digital outlets into consideration when determining the show's success?  I know of a show I worked on last summer for my network that did well online, but ended up getting cancelled anyway.  I would hate to see the same thing happen to you guys based solely on an out-dated ratings system.

Good point K-rog.  Hopefully that won't happen here, knowing the types of shows that IFC books and that their target demographic if probably quite different from any of the "major networks".
Rhett said that, being a small channel, IFC doesn't release the ratings, not even to the those involved with the show. So even Rhett and Link don't know. But they do know that they are getting a strong, consistent audience returning for the show and enjoying it.
Good to know!  Thanks a lot, Kevin!
