Ramen Noodles?
You know I've never known how you pronounce ramen noodles? Do you pronounce Ray-men or Raw-men noodles? Tell me, how do you pronounce ramen noodles?

Raw-men noodles.
Because they're made out of raw men.

ramen is originally from china and was called (still is?) "la-mian" in chinese. Japanese people have difficulty pronouncing the l sound, so they called it, ramen. It is pronounced kinda like raw-men.
we pronounce it raw-men

No just how people say it. I always thought Ray-men was a little weird becuase it sounds like the name Raymond, "Everybody loves Raymond" =P

LoL... I only know how to pronounce ramen (which means window in dutch) in dutch :D so... to me it are window noodles :D

sorry for the confusion & the long delay in replay! (I just saw your reply!) I just meant, ohhhh ok, now I understand what you wanted. :) I've thought pronouncing it ray-men just kinda sounded gross and creepy . . . not exactly sure why . . . .
