Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Let's see who can come up with the most obscure R&L FACT

We might just all learn something that will make us each more mythical!

The Rules are very simple > > >

Stump your fellow MB's with a trivia question or just post a bit of information that nobody else knows.

Must be something that can be backed up with evidence (by a reputable, easily accesible online source) and not just some wild hair tale about something you heard somebody's cousin told a friend of your sister-in-law.

 That's about it. Have fun!

We all know that both Rhett and Link hold athletic sports records at Harnett Central High School, right?  (reference GMM #112)

But which one of the dynamic duo was actually once written up in a major national sporting magazine?

I will post the answer and reference if not answered by Monday @ Noon

I know the answer, but I won't spoil it for anyone else who wants to look around!

(For proof, the URL ends in ...256/ )

Maybe so, but not on the source where I located it.

Really! Well then does the phrase "primordial left" entitle me to finding a similar article?

perhaps, but I don't see where that has anything to do with it

Well, there's a 50/50 chance of getting this right, anyway. Without looking up any information, I guessed Rhett.

Then I looked around and found the evidence to support, as well. Rhett it is!

By the way, do guessers have to provide evidence, or just the person who poses the trivia query?

YOU  ARE  CORRECT!

And yes, if you can provide support for your answer that is most welcome.  If you had "guessed" right without giving any detail, I would have waited to see if someone else actually knew the answer.  If noone answered correctly, then I would provide the proof at a later date.

Before N.C. State alum Rhett McLaughlin married UNC grad Jessie Lane in 2001, the couple hashed out an informal prenup: Their sons would be taught to root for Rhett's beloved Wolfpack; their...

It looks like my URL just stopped before the index.htm in yours, so that explains the 256/ I was getting.

And "primordial left" was supposed to be a clue at the "First Rites" title. Though I think I like the video you came up with MUCH better. :)

Got it!  I give you a shared win on this one.

Sorry that I didn't catch your subliminal clue . . . I actually googled "primordial left" and just thought that the T'ai Chi video was a bit more humerous and entertaining than a disertation on HUMAN HEART DEVELOPMENT at Columbia University

Rhett has a brother, Cole. Name one of Cole's childhood friends. (This one is pretty tough, sorry!) I have one specific answer in mind, but if you can provide evidence for another, you get bonus points!

I have no idea on that one, most likely was a passing comment buried somewhere in a GMM discussion.

I'll leave this one to the true aficionados and post another Cole question below which is less difficult.

I figured it would be a little too hard. I would definitely say it's buried, but the one I'm thinking of is from much farther back than GMM. Back when Rhett and Link were in a more, well, rebellious time of their lives. Or at least when they were talking about it on a Kast. That about raps up my hint. :)
