Nationality

I got a few things I want to say, but I will try to be brief.

Firstly, thank you so much, Rhett and Link, for doing Good Mythical Morning.

I may only get it in the afternoon (living in Europe), but it really brightens up my day each time.

So thank you!

Secondly, I have a question I would like to pose to the world.

I hold USA and South African citizenship, because my parents were bred, born and brought up in Chicago (father) and Cape Town (mother). But, I have never lived in either place, as I grew up in France, on the boarder with Switzerland, and went to a boarding school in England for the last 6 years and am still there for University at the moment. I don't feel particularly American or South African, or French or English either. 

My question is this: should I consider myself an American, or an African? If so, why? If not, what should I consider myself, and why?
