[CLOSED] Let's name the GMM cockatrice! Leave your suggestions!
It was YOUR mythical suggestions that led to the terms "mythical beast" and the Kommunity mascot's name, "The Randler."
Now, let's hear your ideas for what we should name the GMM cockatrice. GO!

I like Isaiah... but how about Ignis it's Latin for fire. And with a name like Ignis, the cockatrice should be very wise and knowledgable. A mythical beast other mythical beasts go to for help.
And maybe to further elaborate his backstory a bit, he could have an nemesis who at a young age made Ignis mute and now can only convey words through "fire spelling" or spelling words out with fire like in the Good Mythical Morning intro. He could also have apprenticed "The Randler" until he was able to go off on his own and become the most remarkable and remembered mythical beast in the kingdom... err... ruins... err... whatever we call it, and now is immortalized as the mascot of the RhettandLinkommunity of Mythical Beasts!... maybe I went a little overboard with the name.
Long story short, I think his name should be Ignis.

First I think you meant that he was apprenticed BY the randler. and secondly Gazette is a better name (look at page seven) the guy gives GREAT reasons!

Well, just getting ideas going. And I thought the Randler would have been his apprentice not the other way around. Though, that would work too.

"Gomymo" because its the first 2 letters of the words good mythical morning, and for me, that's what this cockatrice represents.

What about the name Calcatrix the medieval latin translation for cockatrice or Elizabeth based on it being,"An ornament in the drama and poetry of the Elizabethans" quoted from Viki. Or we could name it "The Randler" for simplicity. Or the GMM cockatrice could be The Randler's Girlfriend or wife or somehow related to it. Or we could simply leave it at "The GMM Cockatrice" people still won't understand what we are talking about no matter what we name it if they arn't dedicated Mythical Beasts. Hopefully these suggestions help and one of them is chosen.

Calcatrix seems a little too literal for me. It definitely canNOT be called the RandLer -- that's the Kommunity mascot and already has a form (the winged, antlered mouse creature that your default icon was).

What about Vifur Tate or Vifur Kate? It's a hat tip to both the first episode of season 2 and the serpent-like nature of the cockatrice.

I like that! Though ViperTate may be an entirely new species of Mythical Beast. Kate the ViperTate - with the head of a serpent and the body of a spud.
