The pick is a seed.  When you drop it, you plant a little Rhett&Link tree.

 

Seriously, we know the pick thing is a problem.  You guys got the first run ever of the mythical shoe, so it was like you're all scientists doing research.  Thanks to you, Tweak is moving the pick area to another part of the shoe in subsequent runs.  Just think of it this way:  you got a super special shoe that never will be made that way again.

 

As for getting another pick, you'll have to ask Tweak but I think the answer is they only come with the shoes.

I lost mine too, and you basically took the words right out of my mouth!  I've always hoped someone found it and looked up R&L because of it.

I almost lost mine during PE so I keep it on my desk
