Microphone used in Harry Potter vlog

Hey Rhett & Link! I absolutely love all of your videos - my students get a huge kick out of you! I was wondering what microphone did you use in the Harry Potter vlog tribute song - I'm starting a private voice studio/voice-over studio and I really liked the sound on that mic you used. I was also wondering what music program you used as well - right now I have Audacity (mainly because it's free).

Any tips/help would be appreciated :D
