Maybe he lost it or maybe it was hurting his finger. I have no idea and I doubt anyone does know. It's not like Link would have been like *in triumphant voice* "My finger hurts! I still love Christy but I must wear the ring no longer for today!"and if he was having problems with her at that time, he wouldn't tell us about it. I don't really have any more reasons as to why he wasn't wearing it; I'm not a non-wedding-ring-wearing expert

I can't remember if it was Rhett or Link (I'm pretty sure it was Link) but one of them left their wedding ring in North Carolina when they went home for the holidays and it had to be shipped back to them. If you watch the previous episodes I know they do explain it at one point what happened. I think he took it off while doing an activity and he didn't want it to get dirty so I think that might be the explanation

If I am remembering correctly he took it off because he was doing something and didn't want to damage it or get it dirty and just forgot to put it back on. I was looking at the episode mentioned though and the episode I was imagining was in the studio but that one was on location so I think I'm thinking of something else.

I remember one episode in their second studio that neither one had their wedding ring on and they explained that they were filming something where they couldn't wear them. But in this episode only Link was missing his ring.

Yeah I think they take their rings off for music videos and such. I remember them mentioning how one of them was supposed to be playing a child or something but they had their rings on so they had to re-film a lot of the shots again so I think they just take them off for all the "bigger" shoots now.

They took their WRs off in the ERB video for obvious reasons and and in What Women Want (again, for obvious reasons). Usually if they're in a video where they act single and stuff, they take their rings off. But they don't do it in Just Being Honest...

Link is crazy in love with his wife and family. Even got a dog that also proves his love. Noticing that he isn't wearing a ring is bit strange. I guess I just view the videos different and dont notice that kind of thing.

Bea simply noticed an anomaly (i.e., that Link's ring was not on his finger in an episode) and was naturally curious about the reason behind it...she made no suggestion that it was due to actual marriage trouble or anything personal. There was no malicious intent in her curiosity. :)
