Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Do you remember reading Flat Stanley in elementary school? You colored Stanley and carried him around for a week or so and then you chronicled his adventure in some way. Well, I have to do the Flat Stanley project for my Foundations of Literacy course. I have the whole semester to send Flat Stanley on adventures. Are there any mythical beasts that want to relive the Flat Stanley experience?
If so, respond and I'll see about getting him mailed! We can even give Stanley a mythical name.
Just for clarification, if you participate here is what happens. You will receive Flat Stanley in the mail. You will show him a good time for about a week, take pictures of you two having fun, and then send him back my way. If you want to take video with him that is fine too, as long as I have a way to show what happened while he was with you.

I'm so excited that someone is interested! Give me a few days, and I'll get back to you on when and where. I just need to get past this week.
Flat Stanley is terribly excited. He can't wait to meet you.
I told a friend of mine about your project and she said she'd be happy to take him on her ski trip as well. So there's two. :)
I can probably pass it along to another friend of mine in PA. I'll ask her.

Oh wow! You are too awesome and helpful! I can tell that Flat Stanley is going to have a great time.
Sounds like fun - - - remember when my daughter did a similar project in kindergarden many years ago . . . she bought a small stuffed animal doll and journal to send around to friends and family to record it's journey. Jessie Bear ended up going on an extended road trip with a family friend named Ron that drove a truck cross-country for a living, and came back with amazing pictures and stories of her travels. When the project was over, Ron even brought his truck up to the school and packed the entire class into the sleeper cab for pictures that ended up in the Fort Daniels Elementary year book.
Jesse Bear had quite the adventure!!! Very impressive. And for the kids to get to see the truck is just too cool!
I do not think my Flat Stanley can live up to that, but he will try.
Erin, can you send a private message with your address? Then I can send him your way.
