Job choice

Rhett & Link, how did you guys decide to be entertainers (or whatever you consider yourselves to be)?
And how do you get your inspiration for the songs and videos you make?
I have a really hard time coming up with ideas for songs and stuff so i am always left wondering how other people come up with songs and stuff.
And for other people answering this question, how did you choose what job you have or want?
