Nice proboscis you've got there. He's definitely a monkey, not an ape.

The biological order Primate (pronounced: prī′·māt)>; Latin: "prime, first rank") contains lemurs, lorisids, galagos, tarsiers, monkeys, and apes (the later including the "great apes").

Personally, I've always been partial to the Crab-Eating Macaque from Southeast Asia.
