Interesting detail from Hank's recant video

Some context:

Hank Green is (among other things) the co-founder of DFTBA Records, the record label that Rhett and Link are signed to(?) and that also sells merch for them (and other YT creators).

In this video Hank talks about all the stuff that he is working on at the moment and around the 9:50 mark he talks about DFTBA.

Idk why I found this surprising but I did.

Interesting! I guess I never looked at all of DFTBA's associated content creators to realize that Rhett and Link might be the biggest ones who use it now.

Sounds like Rhett & Link are the "bread winners" for DFTBA, which is really cool! It also sounds as though maybe Hank is not sure of what's going on with who's making the products. Are they outsourcing workers/factories/etc? There are pros & cons to that, I'm sure.

I've seen the list of all the creators on DFTBA and it looks like they all make really cool stuff. There are a few that probably should have more on there, but that's most likely based on demand of their viewers. I don't really know who else sells big on there other than R&L and John & Hank!

Yeah, I've been thinking they must bring in a good amount of the $ because they are at the very top of the creators lists.
