How do Rhett and Link come up with idea's for topics?

Now, this is something I've been wondering for a while. As someone who wants to make videos, particularly ones about interesting facts, events, or what have you, I've often wondered how these two manage to find such interesting things to talk about. Whether it be browsing the net randomly, watching recently uploaded videos on youtube, Reddit, or maybe even a super secret society/site that all the big youtubers go on to discuss and hand out awesome ideas/videos! Who knows! Nevertheless, hopefully those two can do a video, or just simple respond to this post, about how they find these things.

I only thought of this when I found this http://sourcefednews.com/2012/10/05/adorable-pictures-make-you-work... . It was posted 2 days after rhett and link's gmm epsiode talking about the same thing. Could it be that some of the sourcefed folk decided to do a story based off of their video? Or did they find the same interesting fact that NO one would randomly find?
