Share your story of how they made you achieve something, or made you better! :)
It was about July last year when I became a MB.
There's also this very test called TOEIC where there's a listening and reading test.
By that time, my English listening wasn't that great and I only had one month to prepare for that test.
So I watched all the previous GMM episodes, as many as I could....
Then the test came... and ended.
The results I got actually made me satisfied. 875/990!!!
And I got a perfect score on the listening test. JUST CRAZY :D
I wasn't trying to boast, all the credit should go to GMM.
Anyways, GMM actually gave me a better life, now I do feel like a better person.
It doesn't matter if other people have no interest in R&L (cause unfortunately they don't have interest in R&L in Taiwan), just be yourself!
If you are really that kind of person in your country. You are the unique one, definitely in a good way.
And if there are lots of MBs in your country and you actually know some of them, it's also great! Because people who share the same interest are most likely to be friends.
Now it's your turn if you have some stories to be told! :)

Congrats with the test! :) Nothing in particular, but they push me to be more creative and try new things. I always loved doing crafts and creating things myself, but ever since I started going to university I forgot my creative side. I started focusing into "being grownup" and finding a "proper career". Since I have a month off university, in free time I started to watch old sketches, music videos and GMM. Their endless creativity inspired me to come back at what I love. And I could't be happier. :)
Yep, creativity is very important!
Of course I agree that R&L are awesome inspirations.
They actually inspired me to write some songs.
Which is a long story...
I have too many stories to be told about how GMM made me a better person.
That is very true. There is a lot of things that I learned form Rhett and Link :)
This is an awesome reply!
I do feel great reading other people's replies cause I get to know more about them.
Thank you for sharing everything, and of course I like the fact that R&L made you a better person.
Cheers :D
Thanks, Echo!
They made me smarter, more aware, more creative, more positive, more adventurous, less shy, friendlier, happier, funnier and a bit nicer. They also made me feel OK with who I am (because I am, in real life, really strange. In fact my nickname is "Strange" (my friends' nicknames are "Weird" and "Crazy" (we thought of them ourselves and we're fine with those names))). Rather than writing seventeen paragraphs, I'm just going to say this -
They made me a better person and I can't imagine what I'd be like without them
I like your thinking!
Being who you are is really important in our lives :)
I love the nicknames! :)
Thanks!
I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression in the middle of 2014 and I started therapy soon after. I found R&L with their "Super Bowl of toilet bowls" video in January and they really helped me out. I had watched YouTube for 3-4 years prior but had never come across them before and when I found their videos, I was instantly hooked. I hardly left the house on the weekends and during school holidays so to keep my days occupied I binged watched every episode of GMM, GMMore and Chia Lincon and that really filled my days up with happiness instead of having to sit all day by myself. It took me a few months to watch them all and they honestly changed my life. It is so great to now be a part of this Kommunity and be able to have discussions with R&L with people who share the same love for these guys that I do. Even now that I have finished therapy (I finished in March 2015) they still fill my life with so much positivity on a daily basis and I am so glad that I found them because they have changed my life in such a big way.
I'm happy to hear that you got out of the situation!
The show always make me feel positive and happy.
People in my country barely know R&L, and they're always into with channels like Smosh and Pewdiepie.
They are funny for sure, but we also need some clean, family-friendly humor in our lives for a while.
Stay positive and always smile no matter what :)
Hi Morgan, I am also diagnosed with depression and anxiety. For me it's been since my late teens and I am now in my mid-twenties. It's can be a long-haul disease, something you will have to deal with for a lifetime, or it can be a one-off. Personally I've had very good periods followed by a couple months/years of lapsing into depression, loneliness and alcoholism. If you ever feel the need to talk, hit me up.
I've always found solace in comedy, such as R&L. As a very cynical and pessimistic person, I really enjoy their own outlook on things, which seems a lot more positive without being condescending.
