In the year 2043, the Lord of the Cyborgs will open a small glass case, gaining access to the purple button… is it really the Lord of the Cyborgs? I have a theory… a conspiracy theory… a controversial theory, as Rhett might say, that the Lord of the Cyborgs is indeed none other than Rhett and Link themselves. As several of us are re-watching the old Kasts, starting with #1 and continuing from there, we are noticing that Rhett and Link have been including little clues to their plan for… Global Comedic Domination.
Show #1: The Cornhole Song was just released. Look out for 2024.
Show #4: Rhett’s prediction: Superdog Island in 2017. Kast on October 8, 2009: Rhett planned on talking about a remote island… could it be Superdog Island?
Show #6: EPIC Kast… chalk full of clues!
They bring a hawk and a falcon on the show… Rhett is afraid of them both. September 2009, Rhett becomes Shahbaz. It’s almost like Batman… which Rhett discusses on the 1st Kast of the fall 2009 season.
They show Swedish meatballs with gravy… Live on the Internet, anybody?
They make guacamole… G-U-A-C-A-M-O-L E is released Jan 22, 2009.
Schnieldorf, according to Rhett, is going to be the most popular name for a boy in 2075. “King Schnieldorf” is a the live action role playing game name of the roommate in Surrogate Sharers Ep 3. Rhett and Link mention LARPGs in the SETI Song.
The most popular name for a girl? Barbara. Isn’t she one of our fellow mythical beasts? ;)
Rhett and Link mention Looking for Miss Locklear, which is now the object of happiness of many R&L fans.
As for the Bluetooth headsets, I think that they are code for the Rhett and Link earworms. Refer to the
RhettandLinKabulary for definition of that, and now, the
RaLearworm discussion in the Official Rhett and Link Fan Forum.
Now, we’ve only reached Kast #6 in our journey to watch the complete 2008-2009 series of the RhettandLinKast. I’m sure that as we continue, more clues will pop up.
2043, here we come!
Feel free to add your own if you see any clues come up in old and new kasts!!
