From one Mythical Beast to another

I know none of you know me but that is what makes this opportunity so special.

I'm a student at UVU in Utah and my entrepreneurship class is having a competition. We are trying to raise money and see who is the most successful at it. The winner pretty much gets an 'A' in the class.

We are asking for simply $1 is all. My group wants to show how successful funding websites are. I have just created a campaign here: http://www.gofundme.com/hkff5o at gofundme.com. If you could check it out that would be great.

If you can't fund, NO WORRIES, please share the link on your social networks and help us get the campaign out there.

@ Brian J. Hill - - while I'd love to be able to give you the benefit of the doubt, I'm bound by my sworn oath as K-Mod to protect and serve all members of the kommunity.

Asking a lot of folks to each contribute $1 to an unknown cause seems very SPAMMY and like some sort of scam. Where would such money go, other than your pocket? If there was clearly some worthy charity named that would benefit from the proceeds of any money raised, and if the UVU department / class / professor had anything available to support your claim as legitimate, then it might be something worthy of consideration. As it stands, you have not provided either here or on the gofundme site any such detail.

I'm sure you understand the concerns raised in this reply. I am closing this discussion to any further comments unless you can provide further clear evidence as to the legitimacy of your "fundraiser assignment." You have 24 hours to comply, otherwise and will be forced to suspend your membership account as a potential spammer.

I urged Brian to provide more info as to how the $$$ (if any) will be used. Kommunity members are urged to use their own judgment prior to "investing" in this or any project.
