That'll be a surprise. But I can promise this will be THE Rhett&Link CD to own. We are really excited about it.
but i would like to hear what YOU ALL would want included on a CD...reply! these songs would be remastered to sound reeeaalll nice..and we may even rerecord/remix one or two...? and we welcome your opinion on packaging as well.

we're making final decisions over the next week or so...so weigh in now!
It's a record label started by John and Hank Green of the Vlogbrothers (a very popular channel on YouTube). DFTBA is the Nerdfighter's (a.k.a. their fanbase, just like we are Mythical Beasts/RandLers) slang that stands for "Don't Forget to be Awesome".

what's a DFTBA?
Ohh man... "PhatDippin Rap" is a MUST! also i would love to hear the "Dead Ipod Song" re-recorded! "My Robot Girlfriend" "FaceBook Song" are also songs that need to be on the cd!! And about the packaging,Maybe try eighter DigiPack or Jewel Case? because most of DFTBA cd's are released on slipcase, and they're kinda cool but nothing beats DigiPack or Jewel Case! Thanks Rhett and Link for the Replies on this discussion BTW!

Wal-Mart... Middle School Girlfriend... Science Project... Coffee Shop. The "I'm Sorry, What was that?" CD contains some of your best songs, hands down. Especially Coffee Shop. I'm always singing that one to myself.

I agree, Teresa. All of those songs are great! Along with the songs you mentioned, "A Tribute to Friends", "This Song", and "Little Debbie (an ode)" are almost always stuck in my head. :)

I'm not sure if there's any specifications on what you're going to put on the CD but these are definitely a few of my favorites and I'd be so happy if just one of them were on the it. :)

Water Dispensing Tab
Sunburn Song
Fireworks Hall of Fame
Cornhole
Maine Man
Hoover Dam
In The 80's
I would like to hear "The Buffet Song" as an acoustic track. You guys played it at the dvd after party concert.

Also, you should include some "behind the scenes" items for the booklet, like photos or maybe the stories behind the songs.

Could it be enhanced with videos too??
Jeez, I can't believe nobody's said Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles yet! That has to be by far the most gaping hole in the Rhett and Link downloadable discography. And while we're at it, how about the Taco Bell Drive-Thru Folk Song and the Healthy Choices Rap?

I for one would prefer a CD with previously un-studio recorded songs to complete my playlist to getting a CD of music I've already bought (though like Link said, rerecording/remastering 1 or 2 would be cool, but not the whole CD like everyone seems to be suggesting).
Yes, please do the "Walmart Song", I've been hoping for a while that something bigger would be done with such a great song like a video or re-release.
Hey Rhett and Link! I just watched your movie last night and I thought it was great. I think the song you wrote about looking for Ms. Locklear should be on the new album, as well as the Fast Food Folk Song (starting from the point when the guy on the intercom greets you, to the point when Link says: "So now we have to actually to purchase the food, I guess.") Another that would sound good remix/remastered/extended would be the "Road Trip Theme Song". And I know this might sound like much, but is there any chance of you ever extending the "How We Met Song"? I love the song, but I just wish it was a verse or two longer, just a little more in depth on how you two met. Anyway, can't wait for the new album, and keep up the amazing job you guys do!

Sincerely, Zachary T. Molina
our timeline to finalize our songs is so compressed, we won't be able to add verses to songs. thanks for the idea though, Green Cheetah!

we hope to have time to record Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in the booth...and we've got one other in mind...but other than that...we just don't have time if we want it to be released around Thanskgiving.

take heart, there will be a few songs on there that, as of now, don't have music videos yet--ones that no one's ever heard (!).

also, in response to a number of comments in this thread, we will most likely not be releasing anything that's already been on a printed CD (like anything from "I'm Sorry, What Was That?) It's already on a CD, you know? Anyways, we already have a ton of stuff that's never been pressed. So we're sticking with that material.
