Yeah, yeah, I know. This has been debated before, but what does the Kommunity think?

Invincibility, hands down.
let's be honest, the obvious uses for invisibility are mostly pretty dodgy. and if you decide to become a superhero, you run pretty good odds of getting shot and killed.

conversely if you're invincible whatever happens you aren't going to get killed. also I'm pretty sure that you could get in shape really easily. you could basically exercise constantly without the usual dangers of exhaustion or the injury. depending on how the invincibility worked mechanically it might even accellerate muscle growth.

so yeah, invincibility.
Does being invincible mean that you'd be immortal by default? If so, no thanks; I've got no desire to live forever. I'd guess I'd rather go through life with no one being able to see me.
living forever could be okay depending on how you expect for ever to pan out.
it wouldn't be to bad living until the end of the world watching the rise and fall of civilizations until everybody is sheperded up into the afterlife.

if you assume a less theistic worldview though, one where nobody gets sheperded off into any sort of afterlife, then you would be faced with living right through the sun burning out, burning up the earth and everything on it except for invincible you. and then I guess you would just float in space watching the heat death of the universe. and then I guess you would just keep on sitting there. assuming invincibility prevents entrophy.
in that case it would be pretty awful.

Invisibility! enough said, let's move along . . .Next Item for Debate:

A public message brought to the KOMMUNITY by the friendly folks at Random Contest Group
I guess I was thinking more along the lines of the second part of your analysis. It does seem like it could get a little boring after a while...It would be like in "the never ending story" when the Nothing (almost) took over and it was just the kid and the princess, except....no princess.

either way I suppose you have to come to terms with everyone you know or care about eventually dying, that would be hard, probably no chance at a real relationship when everybody else's life is sand through the hourglass. you have to assume you weould be something of a loner. I'd like to think that If I was in the situation I could make it a little more Doctor Who than Bicentennial man, but it can't be easy either way, invisibility's starting to look pretty good.
I hate conflict, it makes me unconfortable. BUT, i m very interested to hear what people are saying behind my back....I ll take invisibility.
Yeah, take the Doctor Who approach,

Since the usual cause for either would be as a result of a random military experiment gone wrong I would rather be invincible than be sneaking around and getting randomly shot in crossfire lol
