Crazy People met on public transportation

Ellos all, well I live in LA and also don't own a car so i ether walk everywhere or take public transportation. Now i have so many interesting stories about the strange people i have met on public transportation i will share with you, but i also want to hear your stories if you have any of interesting people you have met on public transportation.

The first story im going to share is one i like to call three thousand dollar sandwich guy

I was taking the Red Line train down to Olvera street in down town LA, its a cool place lots of things to see and places to eat. I ended up eating at a french dip sandwich place called phillipes, i wound up getting the wrong sandwich and had to order another one. On my way back to the train i still had with me the extra sandwich in my back pack, once i boarded the train i noticed a homeless man sitting in the front row. The man got up once the train started moving and started asking people for money. He walked passed me and said "got three thousand dollars?"  I looked looked at him and said "no but i have this extra sandwich would you like it?" he replied "maaaaybe is it a three thousand dollar sandwich?" at this point i was trying to hold back my laughter and said "no but its a really good sandwich would you like it?" he eventually said yes took the sandwich and walked on by. now this got me thinking this hobo had a good plan all he would need was 1 board rich person and he would be set. i admire a man with a plan lol!  please share your public transportation stories if you have any ^^
