Chase & Alex in a Wheel Promo?!

Everything that's important is bold as I can assume that some people don't want to read this whole thing -

I was watching GMM episodes late one night when my eyes beheld an eerie sight. As the suspense for the wheel ending began to rise, suddenly to my surprise CHASE AND ALEX WERE IN THE WHEEL PROMO VIDEO.

That was a horrible introduction. To explain this better, I was watching the GMM episode Can You Yodel? as a part of my daily mythical binge. In a nutshell, it was a very good episode and I personally think it's a bit underrated. Anyway, I had gotten to the wheel promo video where I saw Chase and Alex standing in some closet room thing saying the typical WOM introduction speech ("I'm blah and I'm blah from blah blah and it's time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality!"). I was shocked to see this! I didn't remember Chase and Alex doing this (1st time I watched it was when it got released) and they definitely weren't a part of the crew then (or at least it wasn't mentioned in the description).

I don't think this has been addressed before (or at least not to my knowledge) so a little explanation might be nice. There's a whole bunch of information below but I want to know the backstory from someone who knows!

To save time for those people wondering about stuff, I did some boopity-boop-boop research. The episode aforementioned was episode 479 and was one of the last episodes of Season 5 (July 2 2014). It has been mentioned a few times before (I don't necessarily remember) that Alex joined 2 years ago (said in 2016 so he means 2014). I'm not sure about Chase. The first time Alex and Chase's names got mentioned in the description as a part of the crew was in The Clothes-Off Game which is from Season 6 (GMM 488, July 22 2014) with Alex listed as the Production Assistant (he's now the Production Coordinator) and Chase as the Production Intern (he's now the Associate Producer). In the first episode of Season 7 (GMM 597, January 12 2015), Alex and Chase seem to be promoted to Production Coordinator and Production Assistant respectively. Chase was first listed as his current position in the description of Extreme Milk Taste Test (GMM 706, June 12 2015).

This little history lesson is based solely on descriptions of videos so I don't know if it's all accurate

They may just have been a part of the crew and they just filmed it in some massive wardrobe room that may have been Rhett and Link's and they just weren't in the description. BUT I DON'T KNOW THE TRUTH

I apologise for my horrible choice of wording throughout this entire discussion description thingy (there it is again).

P.S. There was some video (I'm sure it was a Facebook video) where a crew member said something about meeting RL at a bowling alley (I've got a bad memory). Was this Chase or Alex?
