Caption Fail Fail?

Hey guys,

First of all you guys are amazing. I'm a long time fan.

But the recent interest which the Web has taken in your Caption Fail videos (particularly the recent Taylor Swift one and likely the One Direction clip as well)  makes me think...

What happens if YouTube actually decides to do something about their automated caption feature? Or if they can't improve it, remove it entirely because it mostly spits out a bunch of nonsense anyway? On the other hand, what if YouTube doesn't want to deprive people like you and me the chance to make fun of their captions' failure and decides not to make efforts to improve it? Would that mean we are combining efforts to discriminate deaf people? How does that reflect on society at large?

Another thing, do you guys ever argue about who gets to be shown during what words in the translation? Link makes some pretty goofy faces...
