That's almost mathematically pseudo-correct as well, given that he's holding up 1 finger and some people would argue that anything divided by zero does equal 1.

And it's also true that ANY NUMBER when multiplied by ZERO is equal to zero, right?

0 x 1 = 0

0 x 2 = 0

0 x 3 = 0

etc. etc. etc.

 

So, therefore, the following must also be true:

0\times 1=0\times 2.\,

Dividing by zero gives:

\textstyle {\frac {0}{0}}\times 1={\frac {0}{0}}\times 2.

Simplified, yields:

1=2.\,

Ahh, yes, mathematical ambiguity: where anything and everything is possible! Mostly thanks to the concept of "zero" and the fact that we don't know exactly how it works.

You can just remove the zeros with each other like other numbers; 1*0/0 is zero
