Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

So for a little background, I am a professional chef. I specialize in baking/pastry and I love making homemade candies. I've been trying out some different truffle flavors and I thought it would be fun to send them a box of truffles with weird flavors to see if they could guess what they are.

But my question is, would they even accept homemade food? I'm sure they would never think a mythical beast would poison them, but I also understand the concern that the food could have been prepared in an unsafe environment, or what have you.

Also sorry if this is in the wrong category, I am new here. I thought about putting it in the burning questions category but this isn't really a question about them sooo...

Hmm...I think it would be okay, especially if you're providing them a note about your professional background, but I can't say for sure. I'm trying to remember if they've received homemade food items before; if I recall correctly, there was at least one mail episode a while back where they received R&L-themed cookies and they ate them on camera, so you might be okay!

Maybe someone else can find the link to the episode I'm thinking of. I have a bad memory. :/

I don't think I've seen that one. but hopefully someone else has. I guess it wouldn't hurt to send them anyway!

This is far too late to help you now, haha, but I found a screenshot of the episode I was thinking of where they ate cookies sent in the mail:

Still haven't figured out what episode it is, but there you go!

Yes, I'm sure they would enjoy the food, but if you want it on camera, it should be Rhett and Link themed.

that's a good idea.

Is there a post/thread somewhere here that lists all the mail items they've received? I was trying to look for and didn't find it.

(I feel like that's something that should be featured on the side bar on the main page of the site, maybe?)

As long as it's something that will keep and travel well, I don't see the harm in trying, as long as fully accept that they may not show it.

Oh, and obviously it's probably only worth it if you're shipping from inside the the US because the rules on importing food can be complicated.

they would keep just fine, and I'm in California so with expedited shipping it shouldn't take longer than two days. I really don't mind if they don't show it I would just like to give them something nice.

maybe if you do you could include an ingredients list?
