I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!

What other deja vu moments from a previous episode did you spot?

I've never had a Deja Vu. Anyone else?

No, I've never had one either.

No, I've never had one eith . . . WAIT A MINUTE!

I pre-cognitive-dreamed this joke.

Both the video title and thumbnail image were edited post-premiere for this episode . . .

ORIGINAL EPISODE TITLE:  Man Caught In A Deja Vu Loop

CHANGED TO:  Give Yourself Deja Vu

I wonder why they do this. Changing the title and the thumbnail makes no sense to me.  I guess I can understand changing the thumbnail to something that was maybe commented more about the episode, so that it catches the attention of other viewers in the future, a while after it was aired, as to not spoil what you will see.  But, to change the name? Why?

I try to give whomever is in charge of those decisions the benefit of the doubt, but in most cases (like the one above) it seems to be fueled by "Hey, let's make this more clickbait-y!" I guess if it gets someone new to click and start enjoying GMM, it's doing the job. But it still, in my opinion, sullies their content a bit. If I didn't know Rhett & Link before GMM and tried to get into it now, I probably would dismiss it based on the thumbnail/title combination of most episodes.

Wow, another change. Not surprised to be honest. I would probably dismiss it too, Kevin. And can I just say I'm quite tired of seeing the guys undress in the show, yes, even though I know it's just their shirts. That probably puts me in a minority of viewers, but I'm not watching the show for that reason. :/

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying this season, but I'm hoping next year's episodes will be more interesting, unique, and decent. I'm still enjoying their quirky sense of humor.
