Link Nation


For those who want to survive this terrible apocalypse with a grin on their face, Link Nation in the place for you! Sure, you may go hungry a few nights in a row, but at least we'll all have fun doing it! 

We welcome everyone! Unless you're part of that Rhett Nation. We don't affiliate with people from across the field.

How This Works

Joining a Nation

  • By posting in either Rhett or Link Nation, you automatically sign yourself up for that Nation. Once you're in a Nation, you can't switch sides. I'll be keeping track of who's where.
  • Now I'm in a Nation, so what? When you're part of a Nation, you get to vote on how the story progresses in that particular Nation. Basically, you get a say in what happens in your Nation.

Voting

  • Once you've joined a Nation, you get to participate in voting! Yay! It's simple. Every Friday I'll add a new comic to this discussion and archive the old one. At the end of each comic will be two choices. You can vote by commenting which choice you think should happen next. (Kind of like a choose your own adventure!) 
  • You may only vote once per week. If you vote multiple times for one comic, all of your votes for that particular week will not count. 
  • You may only vote for the Nation you're a part of. It's a little obvious, but if you attempt to vote in the opposing Nation after you've already joined one, it won't count. It just won't. 

  • Voting ends the Tuesday following each comic at 11:59 PM EST.

On another note, I think I've learned a bit about the Kommunity through this exercise, and I hope that some of you have enjoyed this. Now, am I the only one that noticed that not a single Rhett Nation member voted to blow Link up, yet the majority of Link Nation voted to stab Rhett instead of get stabbed? Is it just me? Am I the only one that thinks that that's a little weird? 

And one more thing before I finally go, I'd like to know what you've thought of this type of choose your own adventure/weekly comic thing. I have an idea for another one that I might like to do, and am curious what you thought of this one. So... that just about does it for me! It's been fun! ~ H.T.C.

It's like 12:20 AM right now, but I finally updated this Nation! So proud of myself! ^_^

And no, I didn't know about that. I've been a little too obsessed with trying to finish the comic to look around here these last few days. That's pretty awesome. :)

Awesome comics so far. I don't want to die of starvation, but I don't like attacking either, but dying is the worse option so I'll go with the attacking.

Well, I was originally going to have a whole battlefield scene in which I would throw in a bunch of characters that Rhett and Link have used as well as other cameos an' such. I didn't do it, however, because it required a lot of work and was taking me too long.
