Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

As slightly joked about in today's episode of Good Mythical More " 2 Guys 2 Straitjackets" when Link said he pictured that they had opened a restaurant, all kinds of ideas ran through my mind. What would they name that restaurant, what would be on the menu?

I have some ideas...

First on the menu, of course, Barbeque! Would Link limit other menu items to suit his taste? Would they offer specialties that were plays on things they had eaten on the show? Weird things, hot things? Would it be a down home type of place that you could go to in your Wal-Mart clothes, or would they want it to be more classy?

Second..names, names? I know there are many that hang out here that are not fans of names. ;) But, for a restaurant, what would be fitting? Would they stick with their brand and make it Mythical? Or would it be something completely unexpected and out of the ordinary.

I thought we could use this discussion to throw some fun ideas around about this. Hey, who knows...maybe one day they will decide to actually open a restaurant and turn to us for ideas and we will have beat them to the punch.

Yum, yes!  "Buttermilk Biscuits" ...you transported my mind back to Mabry Mill Restaurant (on the Blue Ridge Pkwy in VA near the NC border), where I had wonderful buttermilk biscuits and country ham, so of course I'm partial to the name. Plus, a buttermilk biscuit is the best thing (along with a glass of cold buttermilk) to cool down those hot peppers which should certainly be served as a side... Or, combine the 'brands' and call it "Mythical Biscuits"...?

Hmm what should be on the menu? Maybe the boys could get their moms to contribute favorite recipes from their childhood days. I do love that menu you posted - that beats all!

I guess the official restaurant name was released in today's "Will It Dumpling" episode. Sounds like their specialty will be the Dumplizza : A savory combo of marinara, mozzarella and pepperoni. And for desert? Try the Dumpmallow : Mmm, marshmallow, "How can this not be good?" - Link Neal, co-owner and delivery boy.

I think that, "Will It...?" would be the most clever eats idea. Not just for foodies, but anyone could go in and try something incredibly bizarre /tasty!

The premise would stay, and there would also be a variety of "stations". A "Pucker Up 'N Pickle It" station for all things cured in a salty, sour, brine. I see pickled okra (Rhett), eggs, mini sausages, frog balls, onions, peaches, beets, etc. Also, the "God Nutters For Sum Butters" station, with an endless amount of nut butters made on site. Watch out for Link around this area.

The staff would dress in spandex from turtleneck to toe, and on Wednesdays (hump day), everyone wears a pillow inside their sleeve. Instead of crayons and coloring pages, markers and plastic waste containers occupy the guests. There's a wall of framed photos from successful "Will It's...?" past, and plenty of room for growth.

So, I walk in and see a small counter, the size of a desk, with woodgrain walls and mounted Mythical beasts. There's a huge variety of ingredients. All you need to decide is, Will It...?

This is great~ haha

I still like their shake and haircuts idea "suck and style!" Haha
